What do you guys do with your old magic cards?

Why not draft them somehow or make a cube? Or just light them on fire.

Why not stack them into bricks using duct rape and use them to remodel your home?

Take out the basic lands and sort them.
Shuffle all the other cards together.
Both players draw a hand from the shuffled cards.
At the start of each turn you can draw a basic land or another card from the shared deck.

Remember when people thought they would all someday be worth a lot?

I recently donated a buttload to a local shop because they actually sort them and if I ever do need 8 white bordered Remove Souls, I can always get it back for 0 dollars.

I just sold a bunch of old fallen empires/ice age/alliances/homelands on ebay. Appaently people still like them, even if it's not worth very much.

Hmm, you may be onto something here.

I like the idea of having a block that each player starts out being able to use like a 'core set' and each player slowly gains access to more randomly chosen cards from a large pool after winning games. The shittier the cards the better.


Anybody else play weird formats?
