Typically, companies will choose names that reference their product.
Additionally, it is common practice for gamers, especially traditional gamers, to refer to themselves by titles that are in their game of choice.
(See Shadowrun players referring to themselves as "runners", players of various Warhammer factions adopting the persona of their chosen armies).
When these facts are combined, it makes sense that a company that sells predominantly paper-based games would refer to themselves as wizards, typically seen as powerful figures with magical scrolls and books.
