Gork and Mork would win if they squared off with the chaos Gods. The reason they haven't done so yet is that they're too immense and powerful to get concerned over a measly system like the milky way.

The Tau are what the necrons were like before turning themselves to machines. The Tau lorewise are also supposed to be the "good" necrons faction. They are machine friendly but not bitter lifespanlets like necrons who will become immortal just to try and win a war against literal gods.
