What is the fastest way to get an absurd amount of creatures in play?
Type and competitiveness are not important since I am just having fun.
Zombie Hunt for Modern, I suppose?

THIS IS PERFECT! THANKS!
>>55185205
that doesn't seem very fast

Empty the warrens storm?

This with Purphuros out could be a turn 4 lethal while only needing a storm count of 9.

I fucking love Zombie Hunt. I know it's not a good deck and it has gaping weaknesses, but there's just something hilarious about a Modern deck that costs $5 to build.

Beat me to it lol

Back when I still played Magic one of my friends had a Earthcraft/Nest combo deck that was just absolutely obnoxious on kitchen table. I built the most oppressive monoblue control deck ever to counter it, and those two decks were so unfun to play with or against that eventually we just agreed to shelve them for good.
Moral of the story: None.

We had one of those guys- countermagic also triggered literal [autistic screeching].
I remember casting a Pithing Needle against him naming Earthcraft and blowing his fucking mind.

That's because it's 1 for a 1/1 and 1hp.
Not the best tradeoff. Hardly infinite.

This is my favorite. Got into mtg because friends like it. Decided to just make a zombie theme deck. I made a mono-black zombie deck with 4 of these in it. I lose about 7\10 matches but those other 4 end with me running out of room on our table to put zombie creatures. The looks of despair as my zombies multiply is hilarious.

I know you said competitiveness isn't important, but Legacy Elves can get an insane amount of creatures into play
A less competitive but still really fun way to play is Cheerios (i.e. 0 mana cost creatures) and Glimpse of Nature
