Murder sword only really comes into its own against something with a big invulnerable save like Bobby g or similar defences, where they do work. Still, aside from that they're pretty good at clearing out MEQs on a world eater lord or something else with lots of attacks, -4 ap is nice

Pretty much. Last time I went to WW I browsed through the rack looking for an Inquisitor Lok set. I checked every single pack and they all had a huge mold slip from his head to the edge of his cloak.

Ordered a recast for half the price and bar a bit of flash it was perfect.

I've got more little bits to do, and stuff like white on the sails, but it's mostly a touch of brass and some leadbelcher on spears etc.

Trying to round off my 100 pl primaris force.

So far I'm running a primaris captain, & librarian, 3 5 man intercessor squads, a 3 man boltstorm aggressor squad, 2 5 man hellblaster squads with incinerators, 2 assault bolter 3 man Inceptors squads and a Redemptor dread with onslaught cannons

I'm also running a devastator squad with lascannons and a plasma cannon & 5 assault terminators.

I basically want to swap out the devastators as they're dirty manlets for a vehicle of some kind and feel I need more AV in general. I was considering a stormtalon with lascannons or laspredator.

Thoughts ?

A unit of Sisters actual make really strong allies because of how Acts of Faith work. You get a unit that basically has an extra activation every turn. A Canoness with a power weapon and Storm Bolter(or combi if you have more points) makes a good cheap HQ to use with them and give re-rolls. Or you can go with Greyfax for some excellent cheap Psychic defense.

It's come to my attention that most of last thread was spent complaining about waac Guardfags taking nothing but Conscripts, Paskishers, and super heavies at 1k points.

I'm here to remind you that there was a Guard Anon who only owned BC Russ, and only played infantry squads instead of Conscripts, and ran Ogryns, and played ineffective but fun fortifications as his "LoW" instead of overpowered and undercosted flyers or Baneblade variants.

The Death Eagles are one of those Chapters with a neat colour scheme and little else; theres conflicting information about their Progenitor, in that one source claims the Raven Guard (unusual in of itself) and another that they're the descendants of the few loyalist Emperors Children.

They're only mentioned a few times, but one of those is a pretty big one. At one point a group of five chapters were assembled under the death metal title of "The Pentarchy of Blood", brought together to wipe out no fewer than 11 other chapters that had been declared traitors. Other members of the Pentarchy include the Red Talons, the Carcharodons and the Flesh Eaters, so presumably if the Death Eagles are hanging with those Chapters they are some hard niggas

Its a waste of your time and effort mostly, depending on what you use to strip and how much you fucked up during Priming and Painting it will fuck up the detail more than they were before. It also may cause several joints to break very easily.

Then you need to spend time to clean the model post stripping, dry it, and then repaint it.

I dont reccomend Stripping unless you have improved your Painting skills considerably since you last painted it as it wont look much better or if its a rare/promotional Model. Then again "Rare" old Metal Models are easy as fuck to strip and repaint.

Its also good to see your improvement by looking at your older Models.

The high selling kits like Mk3 and 4 marines are made into proper plastic because in high volume it makes sense

You can use both and they both buff everything within range and within the right keywords.

Look at the faction keywords under Necrosius data slate. There is a Death Guard entry. Necrosius is a part of the Death Guard.

Depending on the details in the comming DG codex might or might not need to use a seperate detachment if you want to use his rule to affect The Tainted models.
Usually it is enough if the unit contains the keyword.
In short: yes, both work and yes they count as both Tainted and DG.

It's really annoying to fight constant -1 to hit. At least with nids you can just kill their venomthropes and be okay. But AL and RG can spam long range fire support from inside cover all day long and DGAF.

This could make melee marines and DG in general a bit more interesting.
I see that we can
- Stack moral debuffs with icons and the bell guy
- Stack Poxwalker buffs
- Use sorcerers to support and protect the units.
Can DG use Warptime? It looks like a challenging army but kinda interesting..

DG-codex will have the last word about that..
So far you have only the Index. Which excludes the Sorcerer but includes the Daemon Prince. A DP must use the Dark Hereticus discipline and may take Warptime. Any other psyker must use the Contagion discipline.

I personally would wait for the codex to drop so you won't have any nasty surprises.
Until then you have a very limited range of models you can use because of the limitation in the Index. If you start with smaller games, just using those units it should be ok, even if the codex chances a lot.

Probably never. If they were going to do anything, they should just make it an optional buy in thing. 1 ppm gets you camo cloaks. Maybe make it available to vehicles for more points.
