I tried running a campaign with three different groups IRL. One fell apart due to life happening and moving on with it, one got soured by inter-party drama, and one group pretty much just went Can We Not? after a few sessions, just kinda feeling bored with the concept.

You know, this gig isn't so bad. Sure, my coworkers think I'm fucking nuts, but the paycheck's still rolling in so I guess they can't fire me for being weird. Yeah, the whole PR department figures I'm a lost cause as far as avoiding public ire, but that's an asset too; being seen draws the baseline authorities and agencies, which draws attention of the organizations I'm acting as a lure for; dumb bastards can't resist a cackling villain doing dastardly things, and it makes it easy for my squad to sneak around looking like normies and accomplish our Actual goals without intervention.

Heck, even when we're going after them specifically, it's usually the same routine; I'll go smash a few faces, crash a couple cars and get their attention, then our crew sleuths in, makes a few changes, and suddenly their home life suffers because Dad knows that Mom's been getting a bit more enthusiastic about Parent Teacher night for a reason, and Love Heart Guardians tend to have trouble sneaking out when their essays get failing grades.

A child was born upon the plains, to parents of no particular import. He grew strong and tall, riding forth alongside his brethren as the winds took them. Their band roamed far and wide, doing battle with many foes and earning their ire as well as swelling their coffers. Eventually they found the greatest prize imaginable in a looted seafarer's docked ship, a sack of mystical daggers and a beautiful sword. As the other horsemen squabbled over the loot, the giant rider dug a little deeper, called by something he did not understand. He knew not who his ancestors were. And he found a large egg, overlooked beside the glittering baubles. This, he hid in his pack, telling no one.

A week later, vengeance fell upon them. Wrathful enemies put aside their differences and descended in killing frenzy. None survived but the sturdy horseman, escaping with egg, sword, and daggers, though not before being riddled with arrows and slashed with cold steel, losing an ear, part of his scalp, and nearly his left eye. His rage, the fire within. His glimmer of magic, fire without. And dragon's fire beneath.

He had nothing. Nothing but a small companion, freshly hatched from the egg. And his dreams of blood and death.

For now, he must raise the dragon in secrecy, and master his blade. Then, challenge the horsemen for leadership. And then?

Then, the horde would ride, with a dragon-master at their head. And nothing would withstand their fury.

I'm working again, meaning it doesn't feel like the days are slipping through my fingers anymore. It feels like I can get things done again, so I sat down and remade 70% of half-dragon between now and when I lost it a week ago. It also looks ten times better, which is hilarious.

You first see Ulf walking slowly and carefully behind Andromnida, carrying a frankly ludicrous amount of specimens. He greets you politely, without showing any sign of strain despite his heavy load.
+ Recruited at the age of sixteen Ulf was the last of his viking clan. He was originally recruited by Andromnida and see's her as somewhat of a big sister. A bit protective. Despite a ruff appearance he is actually very polite and honorable (everywhere except the battlefield), and prefers to keep clean and tidy. Baths regularly and knows how to cook.
+ Runs out with Lothian and Cardog. Has good connections with various Norse cohorts and Fighter bands.
+ A blessed child of Wodin, Ulf has a strong natural defense against hostile spirits. Capable of harming them with physical attacks.

+ A big bloody beast; Ulf stands a eight feet tall, can shift ten ton trucks, sprint at fifty kilometers per hour, resist small arms fire, heal from ludicrous injuries and can exert himself for days before he needs to rest and refuel.
+ A skilled swordsman. Even better with his natural weapons. Prefers operating at night instead of day but is fine in either.
+/- Has a grand reputation as a combat monster. Not all of this reputation is good, he has been paid a visit by the Judiciary for repeat offences of eating (non Traveller) sapient opponents.
-/+ Has appointed anger management classes that he cannot miss. Happily these classes are making (slow) progress. He has progressively been keeping more of his faculties when he rages, and he's learnt half a dozen useful berserker techniques from other attendees.
+ Quite literally a beast. Ulf is a monster of the lupine variety. When half-shifted into beastman form his size increases by fifty percent (12ft) and his general physical stats double (x2). When full-shifted into wolf form his size is doubled (16ft) and his general physical stats quadruple (x4).
+ He's still growing. According to medical he's going to get a lot bigger. It's a little frighting if I'm honest.
-/+ Shifts when he rages but doesn't have to rage to shift. Keeps most mental faculties when he half-shifts, but full-shifting and any rage shifting means he loses them almost completely. He will recognize your sent and the sent of friendlies (importantly including you and your companions), but everyone else better get away quick.

- Forced to full shift on nights of the full moon. Has to eat a human heart during this time. Ethereal has set up a 'safe zone' around his cabin in the Ospherous Reserve for him and he has plenty of vat grown human hearts on hand. He can get a little lonely though; Andromida, Lothian and Cardog sometimes visit him during his 'time of the month' but they can be busy. He would deeply appreciate it if you decided to keep him company.
+ Nose like a bloodhound, ears like a bat and perfect night (and in general) vision. Can actually smell emotions. Very, very little gets by him.
-/+ Has a pheromone gland that can subtly influence people around him. It only secretes when his body is sufficiently aroused (usually from anger or lust) but he can choose what basic emotions to influence those around him with; generally only fear, anger or lust. Bio will hook you up with an immunity to it for free if you want.
+/- VIP among the Monthly Gathering. That's all I'm gonna say about that.
- Does not trust high technology. At all.
+ Gets along more than fine despite that. Most at home in the wilds anyway; in the forest he can track damn near anything and seemingly turn invisible despite his size. Not magic just skill. All animals fear and respect him (this might be magic not skill).
- Weak to silver and magic weapons.
+/- Actually has a minor talent with psyker biokinesis. Hes taking night classes but is still years out from being combat viable.
+ All in all, he'll be a good and loyal companion who would fight and die at your side. A friend for life.

Well, my original plan was to sit back and chill, make some kickass potions, drop some of my 21st century wisdom on people, and generally be a helpful guy with a posse of pixie helpers, but apparently, that has changed.

Everyone else seems busy with what they were doing, so I think I'll just handle the coordinating. It's probably more helpful than cleaning out the basement and looking after stray children in any event.

Since I’m stuck in a hentai setting, I may as well use it to my favor, so the main point of this build is Power Thief. “If life gives you lemons,” and all that. I have Collector to boost my Magical Attack stat by two in order to qualify for power thief. That does restrict my choices for companions, but I’ve managed to pick out four different girls, each one excelling in one area. I could have just been cheesy and picked a Ryu for two S rank and two A rank stats, but that seemed lame.

Anyway, with these four I can slowly build up to all A rank personal stats after 100 nights with each of them. I’ve spent my other two boons on Urbanization (because I’d rather not give up modern conveniences like electricity, running water, etc.) and Resilient Soul, for resistance to both transformations and all the paralytics that I’m going to be up to my neck in because it’s a hentai setting.

I was going to pick a normal thing but then Judas Priest started talking in the background. To explain my choices...

Cleanliness gives spirit energy, which is useful since that boosts my Living Armor AND my Cursed Sword a bit further. Resilient Soul will prevent me form actually melting with all the demon equipment I have around me, and give me some magical protection, not a complete loss. Wyvern is a fast fighting partner and I could even ride her.
I didn't choose Be The Girl because while it was a good one, want to be nice to the CYOA giver. Besides I wouldn't get the Cursed Sword boost form fighting, and that would be a loss, don't you agree? Anyways, as I was,
