This is a pretty good resource for figuring out what is reasonable from physically fit specimens. If someone is going alone with no reason to hurry they might go slower. Or if they're going alone with a reason to hurry they could go faster. But everyone should be able to pull these off if they're in reasonably good shape.

I can walk all damn day at a normal pace and I'm 40lbs overweight. Have worked on my feet all my life. With a pack? Maybe 6 miles depending on the pace and circumstances before I need to rest. I can easily do 3 miles at just slower than a jog.

I walk about six to ten miles a day at work, over a ten hour stretch, probably double that during the holiday season. Not all of it's walking mind you but it's pretty good for being a fat cunt.
