I had fun running one of these threads a few weeks ago, so hgow about I start one again;
We will be rolling for various mutations from the 1st Edition of Warhammer 40k, AKA Rogue Trader.
But we will also roll from my own little table in order to determine what kind of creature that is the victim for the Mutation
>1-5: Human
>6-7: Beast (Examples are; groxes, dogs, horses, etc)
>8-9: Xeno (This could be any manner of xeno species such as a Tau, Eldar, Ork, etc, of make one up as you go)
>10: Chaos spawn (add 5 to the result of the number of muations)
So to summarize:
>Roll for who/what is mutated
>Roll a d3 for number of mutations
>Then roll d100's equal to the amount of mutations
Rolled 2 (1d10)
>>55124057
Okay, let's see.
>>55124081
Alright so we got a Human, do you guys want this guy to the leader of the gang? Also roll a D3
Rolled 1 (1d3)
>>55124096
Why not?
Rolled 8 (1d10)
>>55124057
>>55124131
Ok, so this guy only has one mutation, so roll a d100
Rolled 77 (1d100)
>>55124149
What a sad cunt. I pray it's good.
>>55124154
Scaly skin: This mutant has the skin more akin to a lizard
>>55124143
A xeno, I wonder what type of Xeno, well anyway, roll a D3 for the number of mutations
Rolled 3 (1d3)
>>55124198
ork
>>55124250
Ok, so a stray Ork (possibly a Boy) has wandered down into the underhive and gotten himself some mutations, three it seems.
Roll 3 d100's, either seperatly or all at once. It's up to you
Rolled 20, 58, 78 = 156 (3d100)
>>55124298
>>55124364
Ok so this Ork has got these mutations:
>Crest: This mutant as got himself a huge crest, like that of a bird
>Massive Intellect: The creature gets a supersmart (and big) brain
>Scorpion tail: The mutant has grown a scorpion tail equipped with a stinger
What a wierd Ork
Shall we do our 3rd member of the gang?
So far we got
>The leader with the lizard skin
>A supersmart, crest headead Ork with a scorpion tail
>>55124432
>Tfw two smart to wagggggh
>>55124501
Please keep going
Rolled 8 (1d10)
>>55124501
I kinda wanna roll again, Killer Croc is too bland.
>>55124656
Another xeno, another Ork perhaps?
>>55124688
Let's make it a Kroot. They get too little love.
Rolled 1 (1d3)
>>55124708
Goddamn dice drop.
>>55124708
Ok, so Kroot has ended up in our turf, let's see how mutated it is, roll a d3
>>55124726
One mutation, maybe a side effect of hunting underhive prey?
Rolled 12 (1d100)
>>55124745
>>55124760
>Breathes Fire
Maybe it's not a mutation at all, perhaps the Kroot of his/hers Kindred has been guided to that particular genetic trait. I dunno, you guys can probably think of something cooler reason
What tables are you using? /tg/ made some tables for hive gangers a while back, if you're interested. https://1d4chan.org/wiki/Hua_Yuan#Gang_Creation_Table
>>55124797
Our crew looks good.
Lizardman
Supersmart Scorpiork
Dragon-Kroot
>>55124824
I am using the rules for creating mutants found in the 1st 40k rulebook.
Maybe we can use some tables from there to further flesh out or mutant gang?
Ok, what is our 4th member like? Someone roll it up.
Rolled 3 (1d10)
>>55124887
>tfw no chaos spawn gang member
>>55125012
Our second human gang member, let's see hoy many mutations he got
Rolled 2 (1d3)
>>55125037
all of them
>>55125066
Two mutations, 2d100 please
Rolled 93, 49 = 142 (2d100)
>>55125066
eek
>>55125085
>Transparent skin
>Levitation: The creature levitates a few meters (or feet [if you prefer that]) above the ground
Rolled 3 (1d10)
>>55125127
>>55125181
More humans!
Rolled 3 (1d3)
>>55125239
sad
>>55125265
3 mutations! Man this is one unlucky bastard
