Planeswalkers are now Legendary and follow the Legendary Rule where you can have one of each with a different name as opposed to the Planeswalker rule where you could only have one of of each type of Planeswalker.

Yeah, I'm working on the landbase for Ur-Dragon, and I'm going cheap. I have several of the pain lands, a few of the tap for any mana lands, and just ordered the Mirage Fetches plus BFZ Dual Lands, so it's a pretty budget land base but it's better than spending some $300 on all of the Fetches and Shocklands.

Alright, so what you want to do is, lean hard into Green. You're going to be mostly Green/Red, Black third, then splash White and Blue. Play Cultivate, Kodama's, Nature's Lore, Farseek, etc. Play all the Talismans and Signets that are part Red or Green.

I've never had trouble with HP on TCGplayer. Maybe I've gotten lucky but all my HPs... they're more worn, faded, or whitened, especially on the back, than you would want out of a MP but they never have nicks, creases, tears, or writing. They just look a little sad, which I'm more than willing to take for an ancient and moderatley expensive card.

Rarely, but sometimes I can't even tell what possessed a seller to list a card, particularly a valuable one, as HP rather than LP given the price drop and the condition of what I got. Maybe they don't like using MP and have had some history with buyers expecting PSA 9-10 out of LP?

A lot of concepts fit in multiple colors, and the elements of nature are one of them
Air (Including clouds and high wind) can be blue or green, as can water.
Earth is green or red. Generally with a soil/rock divide but not always.
Fire is pretty much red.
Ice (while not a classical element) is primarily blue and red but can bleed to any color, particularly white, with the Snow mechanic.

Difference here is that other of these can't resolve. One thing having no noticeable effect is completely different from a spell that has an illegal target. I doubt that. What's more likely is they'll just allow the game to more sensibly parse spells with multiple effects when one of the effects are no longer applicable. The current rules can already mostly support something like that.

Say you cast Reckless Spite and one of the targets become Black. The now Black creature won't be destroyed, but the other one still will. In a system where a spell isn't countered if all its targets become illegal, it'll do the same, just ignore the parts of the spell it can no longer do. It's not like it'll stop being able to affect the outcome of the relevant parts of the spell.

Wizards is fun if you like combos, ETB abuse, control and super janky fun using Mairsil.

I usually run 2-4, maybe a fifth tacked onto a creature if I can fit it in. Having the option to play one out if you can't get to really use your own turn to develop yourself is always neat, especially when there's an imminent thread of something regular removal can't get rid of.

The huge downside is not being able to properly judge what the right call to use it is. With removal, you can always just wait until its just before your turn to use it on the big, fat Ulamog the player whosr turn comes after you played. Meanwhile, if you decide to counter that Ulamog thinking it's to dangerous might leave the final player open to go off uninterrupted and win because there was nothing to counter his Tooth and Nail. On the flipside, that Tooth and Nail you expected and let the Ulamog stick for in preparation also might never come and you lose because of a threat you could have prevented.

TL;DR they can be much morr deciding than regular removal and are much more valueable because of that and should be treated accordingly.

I played it out of box this weekend against the other decks. As-is, the deck does a lot of durdling and being a minor annoyance while just drawing cards but snowballs quickly if even just one threat is underestimated.
I won that round because they didn't bother removing my Niv-Mizzet and considered me done for next turn since the Edgar dude had tons of vamps and I was at 4 life.
Topdecked Puppeteer Clique stole the dragon deck's other Niv-Mizzet and drew my deck for lethal.

It's a fun deck and still relies heavily on general goodstuff effects through ETBs with only a few dirty combos available if you choose to go that route. The gamws I played with it pre-upgrade IRL so far were all fun for all players and the ones post-upgrade online also didn't leave anyone salty yet.

For the most part, it actually feels unintuitive for part of the card to solve when the other didn't. For Star of Extinction for example, its flavor is that it hits and destroys a land, and its wave of destruction causes mass damage to everything on the board, but if it doesn't hit anything and goes past, why would it still do the same damage to everyone involved?
