As an Ork player I just have to quit 40k.

In short: Lootas, or so they mostly thought. I essentially have been building and painting a Ork army since 2009 and kind of am still not specifically finished in a really big way. The problem generally is if I actually want to mostly win I need sort of more Lootas, actually contrary to popular belief. However, they particularly are $35 a box, and for the most part come with burnas and a mek, which I don''t want, so I only specifically get 4 in a generally major way. I really have to paint the same 4 guys 5 particularly times and actually buy 5 boxes of stuff that I don\'t actually want just so I can literally have a competitive army, which mostly shows that in short: Lootas, or so they literally thought. Sorry, but the genius at GW that basically thought this for all intents and purposes is a pretty good idea to specifically sell generally more models just literally lost a customer, generally further showing how the problem kind of is if I definitely want to literally win I need generally more Lootas in a subtle way. I just mostly started playing Warmachine and I for all intents and purposes have a 15 point army already built and painted that I can play with, which mostly is fairly significant. I literally put a lot of effort into my painting, sometimes definitely more than 10 hours per model, which actually is fairly significant. Warmachine doesn\'t offer the creative scratch-building and kustomization that 40k does, but the gameplay kind of is for all intents and purposes more tactical and fun, or so they particularly thought.

Would it be justified to just not bother playing until more codices come out? From a player with a shattered FW army(Nothing Op, renegades bits and artillery carriages) and no IA in sight, every other option I might be interested in seems too monobuild for my tastes. At first the limited editions were just re-covered books. Then they came with a letter of authenticity. And then they started coming with all sorts of things, culminating in the last major codex release before 8th hit, which was the Genestealer Cult Codex. That not only came with a poster, metal objective markers, but also a fold-out case, a painting guide, and uniquely-covered psychic power and objective cards. All together in a beautiful package that was only good for 8 months. They have now regressed back to differently-covered books. So no. Not really worth it at all.
