Dyson sphere's, time travel and such

I know in the old fluff that the Outsider was trapped in a Dyson sphere, not sure if the Necrons made it or maybe the Old ones, or maybe someone else entirely.

If I remember right, a forge world has what it basically a sun trapped inside it.
That's about as close as we can get to a Dyson sphere.

Dark Eldar had stars trapped in the webway that worked just the same as Dyson Spheres, except that they would shove the star out of the webway temporarily to suck enemy planets into the star

The one main rule of 40k is that if it's a good idea that helps people then it makes demons come out of your asshole to rape everyone to death. Why? Because space marines eat brains to get memories.

Could be a dark age leftover. Basically just a surviving AI drone hive still running it's old prime directive and maintaining a dyson sphere. Due to being pure robots they would have immunity to most reasons they could have get wrecked.
