Does anyone have some spicy tech for Titania/mono green land decks?

i don't know where else to post this: I'm going to the GP Metz this weekend (my first GP) and i'm wondering how much the Promo Tix are worth? How much for boosters or the average playmat?

is having a lot of enchantment ramp like Utopia Sprawl/Market Festival a bad idea?

That kind of ramp has advantages and disadvantages

Pros:
Can refund mana the same turn it's played
Access to 2 1-mana ramp cards, which are rare
Many have very good color fixing ability (dawn's reflection, weirding wood)
Untap land effects get double or triple value
Doesn't die to wraths

Cons:
Targeted land destruction can blow you out
Mass land destruction hurts you more than it hurts people ramping with rocks or dorks, but equally hurts people fetching lands
Mass artifact/enchantment/nonland permanent destruction hurts you more than those running land fetch

My Sek'kuar deck won a game finally and seemingly off its actual merits as opposed to my opponents killing each other.

I cast Wake the Dead to help me set up and on my turn, I got to use Ambuscade Shaman and Swift Warkite. I won with jank!

Guys, the deck obviously still needs work, but I might be able to keep it janky and not make it a boring worse Prossh deck!

Basically colorless mana ramp Eldrazi goodstuff with a side of every colorless tutor, board wipe, and mana rock. It's pretty fun, but I end up having to just play Ulamog the instant I have the mana just to prevent others from comboing off, which leads to 1v3 against me. Flavorful, fun, but I usually lose.

I might switch the commander to Ulamog's old version. The annihilator 4 will probably help more.

Honestly, considering how efficient Overlord is at assembling combos and dominating the board all of the Kindred cards seem very win-more.
Summons is really fucking expensive, and if you already more than 6 slivers on the board you should already be in the lead.
Same goes for Charge.
Boon is really just a bad Hivelord that you can't tutor.
Dominance is also really expensive but can swing the game. However you might as well be playing In Garruk's Wake, only two mana more and hits planeswalkers as well in case you don't have much on your board or are being prevented from attacking.
Discovery is really the only one I can see fitting in and actually doing work.

Herald's Horn will also be a great addition.

So since the complete decklist for C17 came out, I've been wondering, if you have a Phage the Untouchable on the field and Fractured Identity it, will I just win assuming noone can stop themselves from getting the token?

If you're new to Magic, US-based and just want a deck; I reccomend the battle decks that cardkingdom.com sells. No particular format and easy to learn deck. If your buds also gets one, fun times ahead.

EDH/Commander is a very difficult format to begin playing magic in, as it works very differently from 1v1 formats or even multiplayer casual. I don't reccomend starting with this.

List plz? My jarad deck is budget, but it works if people dont know how jarad works or are dumb. I don't remember ever winning a game, even though i do OHKO people with jarad sometimes. Reconnaissance and Cultivator's Caravan for when you shouldn't attack.

Other than that tech, I find that playing traditional tempo cards works well. Cheap removal to clear the way like Swords to Plowshares, some bounce spells, and even Lightning Bolt if your group is that aggressive. You want as many 2-mana rocks as possible because they let you cast Ruhan on turn 3. Lightning Greaves is an absolute must have to give him haste and protection.

Ruhan is a pretty fun general that can make for memorable games when he has a mind of his own and attacks some unfortunate player many turns in a row.

I just can't make Ruhan work.
Jeskai is awful for ramp and paying for AND protecting Ruhan before turn 6 is impossible.
I try my best to aggro him out with haste and use bounces and flickers to protect him but it only works 40% of the time.
He's like a Kaalia that doesn't win you the game as soon as she swings.
Since there's only a few trample options I'm usually left with giving him unblockable or flying, until then he gets chump blocked all day.
Even if he has Lifelink double strike I still have major issues closing a game.
Yeah he can be fun but so inconsistent.

Honestly Licia is seeming really actractive to me right now. I've already started taking apart Ruhan and using it's husk for her.

I liked the Caravan because it is plenty good on its own. It's not amazing but it's like a Darksteel Ingot that definitely can come in handy. There are times when people have deathtouch or something and attacking is risky. Reconnoissance is much better but it takes a whole card

I felt this way too and did better when I changed the deck to be more of a control deck than a voltron deck. I kept in some equipment but focused the deck much more on WUR control cards like JTMS, WoG, Supreme Verdict, Nahiri the Harbinger, Dack Fayden, and delve spells. Built like a Legacy/Vintage control deck that always has access to a 7/7 that can be used as a finisher or as an aggressive early play depending on what you're up against.

Though it is banned in EDH, Emrakul sees a good amount of play in Legacy in Show and Tell/Sneak Attack decks. Well I played the C17 vamps tonight. Won 1 lost 3, so didn't do too great, but dragons and cats went well and our other friend changed wizards heaps. I got rid of Underworld Connections ,Outpost Siege and Curse of Vitality straight away, shit is terrible. Greed, Olivia and Bloodline Keeper went in. Granddaddy Markov shitting out 1/1 tokens with Skullclamp out was pretty fucking handy. Won with Kindred Charge, that shit was messy, copying Bloodline Keeper and Bloodline Necromancer to fuck shit up. Anyone else played the new decks?
