I have one, and it's a kensei weapon, too, so it would do more damage than most whips, but I haven't had an opportunity to use it yet since we're going through the Tomb of Horrors and don't have a dedicated tank, so the little combat we've encountered has been me rushing in with a maul.

Yeah, the Fantasycraft whip feat tree is rad. Lets you manipulate objects within Reach using your whip, gives you a trick that lets you damage an enemy, try to trip them, and yank them to you as one action, increases reach, and lets you switch damage types.

Whips are really fun in GURPS, but especially using Wildcard skills + weapon master + some really ridiculous cinematic techniques.
