'Punk games and their systems

I've looked at GURPS and I do understand why everyone shills it so hard. Just a personal preference of mine but I believe a master of one is better than a jack of all, I like my systems specific and made for a single purpose/setting/style.

Been doing Cyberpunk, Steampunk and Magepunk for decades with this and it's predecessors. Now that I have Golden Age, I can do Dieselpunk.

OP here, been doing lots a digging since I made this thread.

Anyone got a pdf of one of the versions of Age of Steel? The author isn't doing playtesting right but I still can't find his previous editions to see what it looks like.

Also, anyone played the Warbirds rpg? How is it? Worth the price?

Check out Deadlands: Noir for Dieselpunk. It uses the Savage Worlds rules and is rather nice.

On the topic of Steampunk - was Opus Anima ever translated?

Honestly I think i could use FATE for any variety of "punk" game with a group willing to worldbuild collaboratively

Daily reminder that 4 out of 5 "setting specific" mechanics are fucking shit and were made by utter idiots.

Good "master of one" game is so fucking rare I consider them exception rather than a rule.
