Delta Green is finally out and yet I feel nothing, also I forgot to put a subject in the last thread edition
This thread is meant to inspire Lovecraftian /tg/ (like Delta Green and CoC) and discuss Lovecraft's works for inspiration along with anything else that fits into this genre or takes place in the Yog-Sothothery.

How much effort do you put into making the police work feel authentic for your players?
I did a eldritch horror game set in colonial africa recently. My players had way too much fun oppressing natives, and not so much fun finding out why those silly pygmies worshiped that strange rock.
Has anyone else done fun new settings for lovecraftian stuff?
I almost forgot, I posted here that I'd post a mini-scenario I thought up late at night while drunk. On review, it's pretty cheesy but I think I might be able to make it work with some critique.
https://pastebin.com/CLGb2u3m
My main area of concerns are:
>how to make the scenario enjoyable to play, not just the GM lecturing the players for an hour
>what kind of Lovecraftian entity/ritual would fit closest to the type of manifestations occuring in the scenario
>what to have the players do at the radio station itself
I was thinking that maybe the broadcast should be occasionally interrupted with coordinates to the station to clue the players in to what they should do, but I dunno. What do you guys think?
Which should I do next Shadows or Masks?
Shadows
>Seems simpler to run
>I've heard the links between the scenarios are kinda shitty tho
Masks
>Everyone says its the uber CoC campaign
>250+ pages, dunno if I can keep a campaign going for that long
