So me and some of the guys at the FLGS decided to compile and playtest some optional 8e rules. Rate them, maybe offer suggestions?
>Some vehicles are given the "Frontal Armor" and "Weak Rear Armor" rules, which increases armor saves or decreases armor saves depending on whether rear armor was weaker or frontal armor was stronger for the vehicle's 7e counterpart. Frontal armor giving better saves is too much, make it different toughness values on different arcs.
Use whatever facing rules you want. IMO, 8th hasnt actually lost much positional depth, especially the new character rules are pretty interesting, combined with auras and stuff.
Flamers dont hit flyers is good. Flamers ignore cover is also good.

I hope you realize how retarded this rule is.
Conscripts become rapidfire 2. With orders, that becomes 8 shots within 12" firing range. Thats 400 shots. Think about that.
