>Salt Lamps
Would these make a good terrain on a 40k battlefield?

Yes. Wife is a massage therapist and we have like 8. Not at my computer but models lit by terrain looks cool as fuck.

Fire and felt gaming mats get along like fire and flammable material.
I think it would look cool, but you might not get as much of the lighting effect unless you make it kind of dim/annoying for reading books, dice, etc. Some of the more sculpted crystalline ones could look neat though, even unlit, its a big weird rock.

A bunch of them aren't set up for candles, but instead have cavities in the bottom for LED or small bulbs.

Why would you want to bring even more salt to 40k?
Unpainted, "natural" stuff tends to stick out like a sore thumb.

How do we fix it?
>>54988504
I had one of these. I left it on top of my metal cabinet along with a bunch of junk. Because I'm a slob they stayed there for a few years without being touched. One day I decided to do a little spring cleaning. I discovered that the top and sides of the cabinet were covered in weird scales that had somehow FUSED to the metal and wouldn't come off. Watch out.

It really depends how warm they get.
