Hey Fa/tg/uys, looooong time lurker, very rarely post, but love this board.

I come to you for some advice. I'm going to be part of a D&D campaign (5e, maybe a short one, donno) for the first time ever, as a NG Mountain Dorf Barbarian.

I would like your imput and some help to flesh him out a bit more. So far, he is a war veteran, and kind of the village hero for his past deeds. Everyone respects him and can get a free drink in town and the surrounding parts. He is a bit of an alcoholic and, of course, a brewer. Maul is his weapon of choice.

I know it may vary depending on the DM/game, but is this enough to start?
Let me know what do you think, I been trying to keep it simple but I would like to know if there is anything interesting I could add in the vein of this character.

Also Barb and/or Dorf Stories are welcome!

Mmmh, almost by accident, as a dwarf invader rushed the line and pretty much ran into him and died on his own axe as they tumbled.

Probably another family member who was in the army before him, but maybe without that much renown.
