SO this exists, anyone played it? How well does it hold up?
Anyone have a pdf of it?

Do you like tables? Because it's a watered-down version of Phoenix Command.

Oh, assuming I know what that is. Are there any better alternatives?

Yep, run it a couple of time.
>How well does it hold up?
It's pretty cool but most gamers today are rules-light anti-simulationist faggots so they're bound to hate the many, many charts in this game.
>Anyone have a pdf of it?
pretty sure it's in the pdf share thread

>pdf share
I looked in the catalogue and didn't see it.

Latest game was yesterday. Balance is _really_ swingy and it many, many rules are basically useless as it there is too much focus on the logistics side compared to the real cool stuff of normal marines vs Aliens.
The d10 of how many years you have been in the army is crazily important and party balance will not exist because of that.
Also, Aliens really do not have anything versus APCs, Dropships and spacecraft yet setting + rules kinda give them to you easily.
It gets fun when it is at its core: how many times you can pull the trigger before the alien gets to your face but many, many, many things around that is crazily wonky.
Also the rules are bit weirdly worded (well the 1980s). For player aids I have created lots of custom handouts (attached).

Having played this now 6 times, i would go with more rules-light system with a some kind of horror/insanity rules built in.
