Race of sentient Gorillas?
>>54938903
Come one guys Gorillas are awesome.
They're vegetarians, and practically the smartest apes in the world.
Look at these temples! They're practically screaming society of Jungle dwellers.
>>54938903
Literally already existed since AD&D 1e, so I'll just sit back and wait for the thread to hit bump limit with epic nigger jokes.
>>54938964
That's just apes.
That doesn't count as a society.
Besides since when does an idea already existing ever prevented /tg/ from expanding upon it
>>54938903
Gorillas are already sentient you dumb bitch.
>>54939141
Yeah...but not enough for a society
>>54938944
>practically the smartest apes in the world.
That's us, Anon.
>>54939164
The word you're looking for is sapient.
A dog is sentient. A person is sapient.
>>54938903
That's just Humans with opposable toes and less cannibalism.

>1,5 inch long erected penis
no thanks
>>54938964
This
Dominions 4 did an India-inspired monkey nation with caste system. It's pretty cool.
>>54939164
ur a stupid head
I've replaced orcs in my original donut steel setting with ape men. They're extremely territorial and have weird honor codes but overall slightly less violent and more palatable than your standard orcs.

>They're extremely territorial and have weird honor codes but overall slightly less violent and more palatable than your standard orcs.
Ever read Skullkickers? Reminds me of the Horned Apes from that comic.
>>54938944
They're omnivores, also chimps bonobos are smarter.
>>54939456
pretty sure he meant non-human apes

>>54939459
What does "sophont" mean then?
>>54938903
+4 Str
+3 Con
-2 Dex
-5 Cha due to tiny penises
>>54943072
Same thing, Greek roots instead of latin though. Wiki is saying sophont doesn't count if it's an AI, and that they must have human equivalent awareness as well, while sapient could mean something less than us, but similar.
