To sell miniatures, codexes and rulebooks. That is their prime motivation.

Release a broken unit and/or codex with some miniatures to go along with them - people need to buy those codexes and miniatures to stay competitive, or because they think the new stuff looks cool.

GW is a business, they need to make as much money as possible at all times. They stopped caring about the actual games long ago (mid 2000s?)

And basically auto wounds since strength 10

And you cant save it because ap -4

And cover is useless unless your armor save is 2

And then im just gonna keep flying over you and spam my sythes since my bs does not matter and i can pivot twice for no reason

This. What made previous editions so annoying was the amount of rules and units that took all control out of your hands and you just had to take it, think about pyschic shriek

Atleast make it ap -2 or ap-3 so people in cover can atleast make a 6+ save.
