The demigods are often depicted as trickster spirits, tormenting and throwing the War God into frenzy through their many pranks. Yet despite this there is a percieved notion of famility between them. This is important for the culture as they believe all men are dictated by their environment.

An icon of terror used by these people is forbidden by all but the darkest cults. The Black Rat is a scourge of the Berserker King. The Rat's cult will often wear ritual headdresses that emulate their god's appearance.

There is a third great family of gods, though his worshippers are dis-unified and many incapable of awareness of the world around them. Gawrsh, the God of Fools, is perhaps even more volatile than Don'al. His are the daft, the witless, the blank of stare and slack of jaw. And yet, in their empty minds a keen sort of cunning seems to lead them directly to good fortune, earning those touched in the head by the King of Fools a respect from the people of the Duck. They have no nation, claimed by Gawrsh from birth, and serve as jesters, seers, scholars, soldiers, and any role their winding road leads them to. Their bumbling natures disguise an unpredictable and fearless spirit, undaunted by anything and too absent of mind to care for pain, talk, or coin. One minute, the Chosen of Gawrsh may seem harmless fools, the next unstoppable berserkers to rival the most zealous of Don'al's cult.
