There is something of a rivalry between myself, a Necromancer, and another Necromancer in the group. She has made constant chaotic stupid decisions that put the entire party in danger, and has gone so far as to begin releasing demons that have clear intent of murdering party members just for the sake of it.

I have decided to kill them, with the DM's blessing, of course.

A bit of backstory: My necromancer is Onion, a Kobold who has received extensive training in fleshcrafting and negative magic. She is autistic, overly prideful and meticulous, and has a superiority complex like nobody's business. That said, she is not an evil character, and is looking out for the party in her own warped way. The rival necromancer, Nil, is a Moon Elf cleric, who is "Neutral Evil" but is played more of the "Chaotic Retard" variety.

Onion and Nil have been at each other's throats since the game began. Due to recent events, we have both swore to end each other and squelch this rivalry once and for all.

This is where I come asking for help: I need to formulate a plan, not just to kill, but to prove a point. I need a way to take care of her that makes it a public display of power and dominance. It will not be an assassination, it will be an execution.

How would you take care of your rival in such a way that makes sure everybody else in the party knows you're not to be fucked with?

I have a few ideas, but I'd like to hear what other people can come up with. Many thanks.

>Find Stable
>Use Fell animate on Horses
>Animated Fine sized swarm of zombie fleas
>Completly invisible unless someone makes a spot check of about 40+
>There's a feat that has Undead you make Deal cold damage
>Use Bluff and Spellcraft checks to make it look like you're casting a spell, but are really just killing people piss-fast using the hive mind and swarm rules and no one can figure out ho you're dropping armies dead
>Use the fleas to kill off more fleas to increase your fucking literal silent mist of death
There are statblocks for giant Ticks also in temple of elemental evil, and Ravenloft literally has fleas THAT CAUSE MADNESS ENDUCING EFFECTS ON THEIR BITES.

Enjoy wavering entire armies dead or insane effortlessly because no one understands disease in D&D, the biggest example of this being the Entire Neverwinter Nights main capagin.

>Entire fucking cult get's away with casting level draining spells shown as healing because no one makes a spellcraft check to notice what they're doing as they're casting a some super high DC lore check on the Old Ones shit.
>>
>>54905773
This is such a good idea, I never considered something like this. A swarm of undead insects would be terrifying and devastating.
>>
>>54905809
Yeah, it's pretty much something you can use to bolster intimidate checks as you make it look like you can automatically will a person dead.

But that isn't even the fucking tip of the Necrofucktrain Icebeg

[feat] Destructive Retribution
All undead you make and control that Die explode in a burst of negative energy
+
Strhad Zombies.

Strahd Zombies are zombies like the Return of the Living Dead ones. They don't die ever, and dismemberment makes INDEPENDENT ZOMBIES out of the removed pieces.

Coupled with Destructive Retribution, a SINGLE ZOMBIE is now worth the grand total an explosion for a hand removed, and explosion for an arm, an explosion for the head, an explosion for a torso, and an explosion for each leg and foot.

This does NOT count towards Strahd zombies subject to grafts or based on creatures with multiple limbs.

Which brings us to pic Related as a zombie.
Congratulations, you can Negative Energy Hiroshima the material plane.

I think a list of your assets and capabilities would prove useful for planning.

That's bonkers. I'll have to look more into your image, seems up my alley.

We're still pretty early in the campaign - It's a heavily homebrewed 3.5 game with pretty much anything allowed as long as you're willing to face consequences. Onion is level 4 with 11 caster levels in necromancy under her belt, so large-scale stuff is a bit out of her range at the moment, but the fleas thing is 100% doable.
>>
The best necromancy spells at least in 3.75 or 3.5 are the necrotic cyst spells.

Permanent unremovable(barring brain surgery) mind control anyone?

Making swarms of necrotic bunny bombs.

Juju zombies keep class levels, reanimate a paladin or something black guards for everyone.

>>54905145
Raise a family member/former lover of hers as a zombie and have them kill her in whatever way seems most appropriate at the time. The raise her as a zombie and put on an entertaining play at the local theatre in which you have the zombies act out her most notoriously foolish deeds.
>>
>>54906154
Oh yea and there is nothing better then the wraith gangrape party
>>
>>54906161
A bit too jovial, but one of the lines during the party-shattering event was "Your fetid corpse will be serving me drinks for the next millenia, Elf". I do plan on making good use of her corpse.
>>
>>54906252
Then I very much recommend the wraith gangrape party, because her soul would become a wraith serving you for eternity.

And because it only uses the soul, you can animate the body as well

>3.5
TAKE THIS
Playable Necromancers in Dungeons and Dragons 3.5e?
For official base classes, we have:
-Wizard Necromancer (school specialist)
-Three variants of the Necromancy specialization in Unearthed Arcana including either a Skeletal Minion, Undead Apotheosis, or Enhanced Undead as a class feature.
Please note, that 'Van Richten's Guide to Lich' states that liches are no longer limited to their dropped schools of magic if they were specialists in life, so that's something to look forward to.
-The Wizard Necromancer Variant in Dragon 357's Unversed Arcana - The School Mastery variant for Necromancy, swapping out getting familiar for casting chosen school spells at +1 caster level, and all undead madde with [evil] descriptor spells gaining temporary HP equal to your caster level, combine with Enhanced Undead's swap out extra spells per day as a specialist for +2 to STR and DEX and HP per HD in Undead you make, and you've a very decent Necromancer Wizard to use.
-The three 'Dark Magi' Necromancer base classes from Dragon Magazine 312, Deathwalker, Fleshcrafter, and Soul Reaper.
-The Dread Necromancer from Heroes of Horror, popular choice solid class to level 20 and provides base Lichdom as a class feature.
-The Death Master base class (Orcus followers only) from the Dragon Compendium Volume 1. Provides base Lichdom as a class feature.
-A Cleric with some of the following Domains
>Death, Deathless, Deathbound, Decay, Envy, Evil, Hunger, Undeath, Undead, Vile Darkness (referred to as a Darkness domain but is different), Gluttony, Corruption, Repose, Repose(2(there's a second one of this)) Spirit, Pestilence, Necromancer (Blood of Vol) and the seven deadly sins domains.
-The Binder class with choice vestiges such as Acererak, Tennebrous, and some other vestige I don't know about (Tome of Magic).

GO NOW MY SON AND MAXIMIZE SKELETONS
>>
>>54908089
-The Spellcaster class from Unearthed Arcana (non-descript class built around bonus feats and not class features, build appropriately).
-Nightstalker (Dragonlance - Races of Ansalon)

d20 unnoficial base classes
-Necromancer class from 'Secret College of Necromancy' by Greem Ronin Publishing
-Flesh Mage from Sourcebook, 'Magic' (d20, AEG, 2002).pdf

For official Prestige Classes (PrC) we have:
-Thrall of Orcus (Book of Vile Darkness).
-Walker in the Wastes (Sandstorm) Provides Dry Lichdom, which is basically being a Tomb Kang n sheeit, multiple cheaper phylacteries at the cost of longer rejuvanation time, can literally harvest limitless salt and use infinite pocket sand with this PrC.
-Pale Master (Tome & Blood - Libris Mortis) Suitored to Arcane necromancy users or in choice builds, is easy to get fluff wise, and useful becase fuck black onyx. I also suggest using it's hombrew remake which features some of it's qualities shown in Dungeons and Dragons Online https://dnd-wiki.org/wiki/Pale_Master,_Rebuild_%283.5e_Prestige_Class%29 This PrC also has an epic level variant, mentioned fucking somewhere.
-Fleshwarper (Lords of Madness) Mad science so hard you go fullblown aberration, graft dead people to yourself!
-Red Wizard of Thay (In campaign perks of regional feats and background should apply).
-Master Specialist (Necromancy) (Complete Mage).
-Necrocarnate (Magic of Incarnum PrC, is shit).
-Master of Shrouds (Libris Mortis) control of incorporeal undead, maximize ghost blowjobs.
-Tennebrous Apostate (PrC for Binders that use the Tennebrous vestige).
-Soul Eater (Book of Vile Darkness) self explanatory.
-Dirgesinger (Libris Mortis) summon undead with guitar solos.
-True Necromancer (Libris Mortis) don't ever use this.
-Horned Harbinger (FR Faiths and Pantheons) Undead Army Maker
-Companion of the Dead (Gnomish Class with progression unto undeath)

-Darklight Wizard (Kingdoms of Kalamar Villain Design Handbook)
-Death Dancer (Kingdoms of Kalamar Stealth and Style) Thriller.
-Lady/Lord of the Dead (Web Enhancement - Dead Life)
Also fuck this sites word count.

Check out the d20SRD for the Wizard Necromancer Variant class abilities from Unearthed Arcan, and DMG's Transversed Arcana for more of them, as they can immediately make the wizard Necro un-shit.

Lastly, 2e's Juju Zombies are in Unapproachable East, but they're 100% shit and don't give people the important flavor text needed to understand what they are and what they do, so get you're mitts on the Tome of Horror Revised for a far more accurate version of their template. Also has the 'classic' Demilich as a template there too.

Sword and Sorceries Ravenloft Books are indispensable if you want to try and keep continuity for the likes of Vampires, Liches and a number of Undead. Also get Monsters of Faerun, the Lich abilities in that book are Lich Salient abilities from Ravenloft's Van Richten's Guide to the Lich.
