So apparently a Halo tabletop game came out last year that I was somehow unaware of, what is /tg/'s opinion of it? As a Halo fanboy I'll probably get some of the minis to paint regardless, but what is the game itself like? Does anyone actually play it?

Rules are good and the minis are great, but Spartan sucks and refuses to support their games. Best case scenario they breach contract, get bought out my MS, and used as slave labor to produce the game. Most likely scenario they breach contract and get sued into nonexistence by MS, and the game stops being a thing.

This game and the Halo Fleet game looked kind of fun. However, they are made by Spartan games. Spartan is a company known for releasing stuff and then dropping it. You can go to their website and there is hardly any mention of the two games existence. This explains why you can't really find any players.
It is a shame as I thought it would be kind of neat.

Anyone know how big the pelican (1:100 scale one) is compared to a 40k valk, gonna pick up at least one and proxy it as a valk since pelicans are the peak aesthetic for a vtol dropship.
Also what other sci-fi wargames are in the same scale.

if its 1:100 it should be 30cm long
which is slightly lobger than a valkyrie so it should be fine, the cockpit may look to small for 40k scale though.

cockpit is not an issue, model size is main concern, which is fucking toasty, though I'm sad it's 10mm scale since I really would have wanted ODSTs for my guard
