What's the best system for a pirate fantasy game, /tg/?
Poison'd

That's pretty good for one-shots. I wouldn't recommend it or building an ongoing campaign.
Then again, I feel like pirates are best when they're careening towards disaster, so that kinda recommends Poison'd again.

How is 7th Sea?

Dunno. I'd say a month and a half campaign would be kinda the natural lenght.
A oneshot certainly feels cramped.

You're probably right, I should probably have said "short campaign."

It exists, it does its thing tolerably well. My experience with it is limited but I wouldn't say it really stands out in any way.

I like savage worlds for it.

Your op pics is giving me wholesome childhood memory
The only system I know for pirate fantasy at the moment is probably 7th sea, I read the second edition pdf last night and it seemed pretty god, the focus on the pirate aspect is pretty small though as they made an whole supplement dedicated to them
The system is not really lethal and seems fun to use, I liked the character creation system, it also have a small bestiary to include sea monster such as sirens
Otherwise I guess you could use some generic system and adapt it, like Savage Worlds or Fate
