So, seeking further input on the current iteration of the quest system.

* Currently have 13 locations; will have at least 14.
* Each location has associated with it two quests: standard & epic. No conflict with doing both.
* Quests occur, in order, with an average of one year in between them. Anon selects the order before hand, but "forgets" about what quests he/she selected once in the world.
* Must complete two standard quests before completing each epic quest. So, four standard quests in order to take a second epic quests. So, valid orders:

Dream waifu makes you immune to domination, which I feel is probably imperative in that world.

Take her and Vampire Queen waifu, and you can tease a tsundere all day.

I don't need destruction spells. I have telekinesis, transformation, and meteor. That should be enough. If I find anything that doesn't work on I can just escape with contingency magic and teleport. Transformation is OP. I can summon an army of intelligent wolves, and with transformation magic I can transform them all into T-Rexes. I can also transform my enemies into extreme barophiles, which should make them pretty much explode immediately. Barophiles are technically living creatures. Shiro gives me awesome dreams and protects me from insanity inducing abilities. Conditional magic protects me from everything else.

First, turn myself into some small fluffy magical critter. Second, conceal myself to all hell. Third, start hanging around some sort of magical hotspot. Eventually I'll make pacts and awakenings with various youths, turning their lives into power rangers episodes or magic girl shows depending on how I'm feeling. Of course if they get in over their head, the fluffy companion animal can swoop in to save them.

There was a cyoa that i saw only once when i was drunk (i guess). It had a red background and i believe it was a wip. I remember seeing only some companions (1st one was a witch, last one was werewolf triplets w/ a bar or something). Sorry for asking this but does anyone have this?

Alright so i have a Death ray, Bullet hell dispensers, and i am the fucking strong. This pretty much fucks up anything that tries to kill me. And even if they try to kill me it will prove difficult because i am protected by a antimagic field that can be recasted quickly thanks to quick magic, and with the access to mirror image and warp perception it makes it even more hard to kill me and even if they did i would just respawn on my pocket plane. I also picked up some neat stuff like the dimensional traveler, ascension rite, and transformation allowing me to travel to other worlds and filling them with mages to see what happens. The transformation is there for the Be The Little Girl clause

The meteor ability is pretty damn powerful. Even assuming it's truck-massed rather than sized (let's call it a ton) moving at 11km/s (escape velocity, so the minimum for it to be a meteor) that works out to the equivalent of over 14 tons of tnt. As it stands, the planet looks like something one might get from scribbling in MSPaint. Consider getting an actual photo and throwing a filter on it, or using the smudge tool or something to make the clouds look less defined.
Actually, just get an actual photo for reference and try to imitate the way clouds look a bit better. Also the water, that blue looks way too saturated and bright.

Conceal is the big one for illusion. Since you are so powerful basically everyone with access to Sense will know your exact location anywhere in the world, and none of them like you. True sight will pierce Conceal, but only in line of sight, so Conceal is still useful to keep them from coming for you. It's also useful to hide your approach, if you want to go on the attack instead of defense.

Personally, the one reason I >>54864717 didn't take Spell Failure is I think it might apply to Pocket Plane "true immortality". A 1 in 20 chance that your immortality fails and you just die (repeating heals might be able to raise the odds a bit). Paranormal magnet is another one, there's no telling what kind of magics non-human things might have, there might be something out there that could stop me.

I really wish I had taken Dispel though, that's the one thing I feel I am seriously missing.

If you are running Quick Magic and Magic Immunity (and maybe Suspend Biology) you should be pretty much immune to anything. Dispel takes 4 seconds to cast, so you can put your immunity back up faster than they take it down. Even if they have quick magic Dominate takes 12 seconds so there's no getting around that.

The game long term game plan is to find and recruit as many normal humans via sense and true sight, ascend them to mages and create my own personal loyal army. I will do this by exploiting sleep, alter memories, domination and repeating magic and of course the ascension ritual. Repeating magic will keep refreshing alter memories on neutral human parties and refreshing domination on enemy turned mages.

Once I have gathered a sizable army with all the appropriate conditional magic counter measures and emergency protocols in place, I'll cast Dimensional traveler and start my own mage empire on another world away from all the factions and the demon lord who wants to fuck up my shit.

As for a battle plan, I plan to abuse conditional magic variants of rank 2 flight, rank 2 body enhancement and rank 2 transformation, doing the same with Celestial Fury. Hitting things extremely hard with 40 000 kilograms of combined weight at the speed of sound means very few things can withstand a direct or even indirect impact. Rank 2 flight on Celestial Fury's indestructible and magic cutting sword form has the added benefit of making her weightless to wield. Pressing my advantages further with quick cast and repeating magic to continuously apply heal, barrier, blood curse, dispel and magic immunity. I can get rid of mundane threats by forcing the victim to sleep forever until they die from dehydration and starvation.

I don't think you understand conditionals, but I'm not 100% sure I do either so I'm just going to drop it. One thing I will say though is that most of those you could just cast on your own. I intend to keep magic immunity up 24/7, there's no set duration so it should last until dispelled. Is it just me, or does it seem like the best thing to do is take Dimensional Traveler and fuck off to a universe free from this one's magical problems?

I think almost everything aside from the special magic Dimensional Traveler, the Immortality spell, the upgraded Pocket Plane spell, and the pact with Shiro is mostly fluff. Take everyone you care about and ask them to join you in traveling to a more sensible world where they won't have to worry about some freak casting horrible magic on them, and offer them immortality to tempt them further. Live your immortal life safely, and dream of amazing adventures.

So I really hate to namefag, but I wanted to just talk to ya guys on some author shit. So go ahead and insult my faggotry now to get it out of they way.
Basically my next project is going to be sci-fi knights and fantasy. The more art and stuff I keep finding for it, the bigger it gets in my head. That being said, it's gonna end up being really fucking big. What I wanted to ask was what you guys think about my general ideas for it and if you have any input. Like what you want to see, things you notice in my previous works that I shouldn't do, or even suggestions on how to be better in general.
Long point short, here's what I got.

For "lore" I was gonna use a massive planet that's also hollow for even more locations and adventure. Something prevents you from leaving the planet or at least the local system, like a quest or curse or something that you'll need to solve. Guns and such exist, but most most people prefer swords and standard fantasy arms. Magic will exist, as will advanced tech like mechs and what you'd expect.
Now for main sections I'm currently thinking

>Design a suit
>Pick a class/specialization
>Weapons, magic, and tech
>Factions
>Cities
>Extra planets to visit maybe. Depends on my lore.
>Companions
>Transport
>Job
>Minor quests
>Main quest

In all seriousness it's going to mainly focus on "spells" and guns rather than swords because nothing beats a rain of uranium-tipped 40mm lead from 10,000 feet away and it's going to mainly be about beating up aliens, but aside from artificially-programmed spells, it's not gonna have many fantasy elements.

Give a reason for this and make it viable. Hell, make it the logical and pragmatic solution to most conflicts. You have advanced tech and magic at your disposal, so there's really no excuse.

I suggest you focus on the fantasy elements, then. Make it a monster hunter-like thing but with sci-fi elements, that's gonna definitely draw in a crowd.

You will be able to fully customize your guns, be it in small arms calibres, cannon calibres, artillery, or railguns, being able to pick ammo types like heat, armour-penetration, air-burst, or EMP types along with simpler things like hollow-point or FMJ.

If those don't fit your fancy, you can also customize energy-based weapons like lasers and blasters down to the size of their diodes, which affect things like potency and range. You'll also be able to "cast" "spells" (akin to executing scripts) from your power armour suit, equip your power suit with "marks" that give your suit a special buff like stronger shields.

At this point, the only viable way to use swords is from using stealth or somehow being able to gap-close easily, but computerized aiming kind of makes that obsolete in a battlefield.

Subaru could have become one of the world's greatest swordsmen and magicians in a few short days if he applied himself and killed himself each night. He could gain years worth of knowledge in a very short time. Instead he remained pathetic and become one of the most detestable MCs in anime.
