You're playing as established heroes and nations, there is no way you're a bunch of samurai themed pikemen or even a band of mercenary rejects.
The setting and fanbase don't lend themselves well to this.

Elves have plenty of women, Khand is mongol samurai axemen, Harad and Umbar are brown people, and far Harad is just African warriors that were hideously op last edition. All you have to do is paint them correctly and give Boromir and Faramir black hair.
