Don't have that class in my games (we mostly play DW for fantasy).

If you ask me it a witch could be a witch (male)... seriously, it depends. In some game we use that class for men, in some we dont'. I like the idea of the female magic, honestly, and I am the guy in the group that tries to have their classes and whatever be at least tentatively less "always male/always female" but still.
We managed to have decent witch that was a male in disguise - which is pretty much going back to the roots of this shit, shamans and all.

I'm actually already planning on adding a trio of witches to my next Savage Worlds campaign. They'll have use of the rituals and portents rules, and the players can utilize them as a resource, but only by doing unusual favors for the hags.
