You know there are other alignment systems right? Palladium's Principled (Good), Scrupulous (Good), Unprincipled (Selfish), Anarchist (Selfish), Aberrant (Evil), Miscreant (Evil), and Diabolic (Evil). And old World of Darkness got really complicated. Doesn't make for cute little memes though.

>>
>>54822121
Alignment systems suck. You can't just condense the entirety of ethics, philosophy, and human values and behaviors down to a handful of boxes. If you go simpler than D&D, it's even more forced and artificial. If you go more complex, it's more confusing without solving the problem. Your sooper speshul alignment system that's just D&D with some slight tweaks isn't any better, either.

So you're never going to improve on D&D's, and at least it's famous enought that most people who have any chance of playing a TTRPG have at least a vague understanding of it

Or how producing recycled paper for cheap-ass book printing is a lie and the price is artificially dumped down?

That might also explain how recycling doesn't change people lifestyle by forcing them to separate their trash and throw paper, glass, metal and plastic separately. And how the iron works two towns away is totally overpaying by melting scrap metal. Or that bottle factory in the county - they just collect those bottle screws to confuse people!

No-alignment is a better system.

When you label a character as good or evil or lawful or chaotic, you pidgeonhole them and limit what they can be. It turns them into a flat character. Yes, they can change alignments and there is nothing actually stopping them from doing whatever, but thinking of them in such shallow terms is psychologically limiting.

For instance, if a character is in a situation being antagonized by a priest, to determine how he would react, you would ideally stop to think "does he have any history with priests? What was his childhood like? Was his town religious? Were his parents? Did he have any religious experiences? What are the church's beliefs? Are they compatible with his?" But with an alignment system you just think "he's chaotic so he hates authority figures" or "he's good and its a good-aligned god so he doesn't fight them". There's no complexity or nuance to your decisions anymore.

>"Sub" is short for "submarine sandwich" which is a sandwich.
>An ice cream sandwich is also a sandwich because it's in the fucking name.
>Tacos are not sandwiches, they are tacos.
>Wraps are not sandwiches, they are wraps.

A sandwich is made when food is sandwiched together. That's the act of pressing the food together. Tacos are filled, wraps are wrapped, poptarts are injected. To be a sandwich you have to sandwich the food together. Ice cream sandwiches, hot dogs, hamburgers, smores, etc. If the food isn't pressed, it's not a sandwich.

From an energy perspective, it requires quite a bit of it to recycle things. If you are burning a half ton of coal for every ton of styrofoam, its kind of hard to justify that expense.

A Sandwich is what happens when you stack two edible things together to hold a third edible thing that you couldn't eat with your hands without making a mess.

The hard frosting bit is the top piece of bread. The flaky bottom is the bottom. The stuff jam in the middle is jam. Thus, in function a Pop Tart is a sandwich.

>Recycling is not for profit you dense motherfucker, it's to diminish contamination and keep the fucking planet cleaner.

Motherfucker I work in the recylcing industry, and it is absolutely 100% a for-profit industry (And a shady as fuck one at that).

The profits are made selling the recycled material to producers, and using complex jargon and statistics to bamboozle customers into paying a couple extra cents a pound (which adds up fast when you're dealing with 40Klb trailers on a daily basis).

There are local recycling initiatives, yes, but they're almost always directly tax-funded as a government service or they're subsidized by a for-profit recycling company.

Also, not to burst peoples bubbles, but 80% of all recyclable material has to be thrown out because it's contaminated by foreign products or food/waste products, and that's at the industrial level (where product is usually much purer). Consumer-grade recycling is usually junked because it's all contaminated with food or trash, and the initiatives also have an extremely low impact and are almost always a money sink that never pays itself off - everything is in the industrial/commercial level dealing in the trailerload at a time.

Recycling is important, but understand that it's also an industry - you taking all your soda cans to a bin once a week is a drop in the ocean compared to the real industry going on behind the scenes.

Call me a heretic, but I make all sandwiches without top piece of bread, and I dont see why I should add more bread in my diet.

The "trump-specificness" of it comes from the fact that the schematic shown above holds true for all the relevant articles in all the mainstream news outlets.
There is barely any articles in the old media about trump that don't follow that schematic to some extent.

Compare for example the number of such articles written under obama to the number of such articles *already* written under Trump despite the fact that he hasn't even been president for a year.
The butthurt of the old media is palpable.
And it's so obvious that CNN faces a crisis in declining viewing numbers because of it.

So is fried chicken a sandwich?

That just means you're ideologically inconsistent.

Dropping the recycling redpill there.

Do you think his head would explode if he learned that wind and solar power are absolutely garbage at supporting a power grid's base load, that they're far more wasteful and environmentally damaging than the public is lead to believe, and that they both have killed far more people per kilowatt hour than nuclear power?

I'd believe it even if it wasn't true. I don't know why but I've got a raging hard-on for it. Solar and Wind seem super fucking memey even if they do work. Fusion fucking never ever mfw

Everyone's afraid of muh waste, muh terroris, muh Chernobyl. It's too bad the retards can be cowed by pandering to this fear when Uranium is practically endless (getting it out the ocean) and if we could figure out thorium (assuming it's possible) that shit just drops out of the rare earth refinement process. But muh clean energy! That shit makes my blood boil.

Not even an energy shill of any kind.
