What's the most /tg/core album you own?
>>54820710
I don't own any physical albums.
I don't exactly own the digital albums either.
>>54820769
>I don't exactly own the digital albums either.
You must be mistaken; surely you own the magnetic fields which reside on the hard disk that you own that form the instructions for how the speakers which you own should shape their vibrations in a particular pattern that is pleasing to the ear?
What other form of ownership is there?

And to answer your question, it doesn't get more RPG metal than this:

>RPG Metal
I thought /tg/ was supposed to have taste
>>54820856
What on earth gave you that idea
>>54820710
There's an entire album of Traveller-inspired music

good shit
>>54820710
Probably Blues Traveler's "Travelers and Thieves". The insert paintings look like something out of a D&D book.

Decent background music for a medieval game, but nothing exceptional.

>This plays in my head every time during the climax of a session fantasy flight's Black Crusade
>mfw dragging a planet into the warp is played out like a Ocean's 11 heist/Bank Robbery

>>54823572
Glad to see someone here appreciates fine classical art.
https://soundcloud.com/simonswerwer/the-tankard-basher-1
Simon Swerwer is one of the most /tg/-spirited artists, and we used his theme for 4chan cup's board anthem

I only own like 4 cds and a bunch of bardic and medieval styled stuff, but this thing has a song for every moment.
Rhapsody
>>54820961
I prefer the fantasy style music of Dargaard
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h-D8Vnr90-Y
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3aB6CPyO0Ww
It doesn't get much more /tg/ than a song about Fingolfin challenging Morgoth at the gates of Angband.
>>54824988
Blind Guardian is the objectively correct choice.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_3_S1Q40HZo
Basically any album from them is pretty /tg/.
There's a few Death Grips x DOOM (2k16) mashups that I like for WH40k stuff.
>>54826948
>Death Grips
>>54824152
yes this
>>54824942
and this
yes
The Protomen's Act 1 and 2 albums are like shadowrun campaigns or something idk.
>he claims to be /tg/
>he doesn't listen to dungeon synth

Christopher Lee recorded an album of dark metal based on the life of Charlemagne, who happens to be his ancestor.
so... probably that.

Basically this whole album.
>>54826927

Did Blind Guardian ditch that horrible lead singer? Because this is almost something I wouldn't throw in the trash.
>>54829080
End yourself my dude, Hansi is great.
>>54829096
You know what. I was confusing Nightwish with Blind Guardian.
Not to say I think Blind Guardian is any good, but I was mixing the two up.
>>54828938
I would never play a /tg/ game to it cause everyone would be distracted by him. It's an amazing album though.
>>54829238
Which Nightwish singer are you talking about? Tarja is one of the best metal vocalist that ever came to the plate and she walks all over every other opera metal singer that has existed (even ones in better bands). She became a Diva and they had to fire her, yeah that sucks but it doesn't take away from her amazing talent. The other two Nightwish singers were amazing as well, Annette was just not a good follow up to the power that Tarja had
>>54829391
I neither know nor care which is which. Nightwish sucks.
>>54829781
plebbian who only heard about them after they were popular.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x2sd8UMUaIk
and you can go back to anything from Ocean Born to Century Child and every song is golden.
>>54822227
This is the first time I've ever heard that song before.
Thank you.
>>54820710
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AFhKjbgfYJE
this is, at least to me, more /co/ than /tg/ cause I think of Thor and Executioner when I listen to this. But The Hero is a perfect song for a mercenary turned hero

>I know who I am
>I am an evil man
but he gets his redemption
