Now that you mention it, my group is starving for a GM that enjoys it. We normally run on roll20, and all try to take turns, but our games don't last very long because we prefer playing PCs.

We are relatively new to TTRPGS, relatively meaning we just started about 2 years ago, and we normally run 5e or Star Wars AoR, but are trying to branch out towards pathfinder if we can figure it out.

You're better off just modifying 5e, 4e, or M&M with your GM to fit your needs.

No. It works fine for some groups. It requires a lot more work than most other systems, but it's good for a group of beginners because there's so much already made for it and it is a fairly easy system for beginners to use while still having enough of a curve to get them acquainted with better systems in the future.

Hating Pathfinder is basically a meme.

Just lurk in the /pgg/ for a while. You'll see how they all complain about unplayable, worthless, core classes, trap feats, spells, and so on.

It's a garbage system that only serves as a fly-catcher to keep the worst of the rpg community contained.

If anything we just need a GM who will competently run a system, we have 5e down pat but I don't think anyone would mind branching out
