Like whats the difference between a quest and a task, or a quest and a job, or a quest and an order.

You can be a merchant. I GM'd a game of Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay based on the Enemy Within Campaign, which puts the players on a boat during the Death on the Reik segment. Adventurer support would be a good business. After being hired sit outside the dungeon providing medical aid and specialty gear. If they can't finish the dungeon they call give you a call or find someone else to clear it out before going in and carting everything away. The land and structure could even be yours to keep or sell. They can also be used by you to improve sale prices on loot.
