There are no good tabletop game adapt-
Can you name any others? And, for the most part, the best parts of Record of Lodoos War have very little to do with the actual replays, and are more about the work on the DM's part building the setting and backstory, and the characters which were a large departure from how they actually were in the replays.

Wasn't that first a light novel series?
I heard Midkemia novels are adaptation of a tabletop game, although that might just be an urban legend.
I like them regardless.

Holy Avenger was pretty dope. Its on a brazillian setting called Tormenta. Though if you don't like anime, you might not like the comic.
I've heard there was an adaptation of Vampire, but also that it's shit.
Lodoss War was decent at best.
Wild Cards
Wild Cards.
The Expanse.ASoIaF all but confirmed
Technically Lodoss is based off of the LNs which are in turn only based off of the playlog. If you read the replays you can see that there isn't much shared between the two beyond the general setting and the backgrounds of the characters.
Also, Ange Vierge is a pretty fucking sweet tabletop game adaption. Too bad the game it is based on got canned recently.

Author said they were an adaptation of a big same-world multiple-campaign game that his tabletop gaming club ran in college, IIRC.
At the very least, there was a spinoff series (Mistress of the Empire) which was very blatantly ripped from L5R.

It was mostly just boring as fuck, until you get to the stuff with Spark where it's just mediocre. Rune Soldier was a more enjoyable series

Look I'm not going to defend the OVA, but the TV series was fucking trash compared to it. Except for it's god-tier opening.
