Alright /tg/ I got a confession to make, I live far in Northern Europe where (at least in my town) nobody plays traditional RPGs.
I have for a long time been interested in traditional RPGs and as autistic as it sounds I play a lot of it alone.
I understand that I miss out on the whole social aspect and surprises in stories but it still feels comfy playing.
Do anyone else play alone sometimes?
Is there not a single LGS in town? Also have you considered convincing friends into trying TTRPG? I know that not what you want from this thread but imo playing with other people is much more fulfilling

Local Game Store

Nah just video game shops, there is only one local game store in the capital town two hours away but that's it.

Try roll20 or something? the overall quality of players is low but if you sift through enough games eventually you'll find one that suits you

Tunnels & Trolls, some of the Traveller solo type books and Xwing - all solo coz no one my age plays them around me, if I played with 'the kids' someone will eventually thinks I'm strange and I dont really have the time to play on roll20 until 4 am Monday morning.

>until 4 am Monday morning.
Well that will probably make it work better if you want to play with Americans.

How do you play a RPG alone? Just curious

With Mary Sue characters and self-felating plots.
