Does mummy rot transmit itself sexually?
Could a mummy get an epidemic going by punching a prostitute?

It's an ancient magical curse, not a disease. It's not contagious either, so no, it wouldn't even spread by normal means. Now stop being weird you goddamn virgin.
Mummy Rot is a magical disease that is almost half a curse. It only affects those that the mummy has a particular grudge against, such as tomb defilers, and is the origin of the "Mummy's Curse" legends.

It's a curse, it only affects those hit by the mummy.

Well, that didn't go how I expected it to

I've thought about this a lot, and have come to the conclusion that the best way to use undead as a bioweapon is ghoul fever infected fleas carried on zombie rats that appear to be normal rats. You can also use undead birds to spread it farther.

I like the way you think.

I've also got an idea for using animated wind-chimes carved from bone and hung from sinew as an alarm system. The modern necromancer has no need to hide about in caves and remote towers, with a little ingenuity you can create a stylish, unassuming, and secure suburban lair.
