Why is the warhammer fanbase so autistic?
Sunk-cost fallacy.
Because it's a popular nerd thing.
Because you allow /tg/'s 40k fanbase to color your perception, I know I do.

>Why does a game that focuses on huge attention to detail over a long period of time and large quantities of abstract maths appeal to people who like exactly that?
Why is the /tg/ OP userbase so autistic?
because the autistic players treat 40k like a my dad can beat up your dad argument

Because /tg/ and by extent 4chan has close ties to the Warhammer community. Everyone in my FLGS will constantly quote either 1d4chan or TTS.
So naturally, everyone is autistic as we are.

I don't see what's autistic about it. I haven't read any books about it, but the universe is big, and therefore there is lots of content.
Of course their fanbase will wear the warhammer logo with pride, I know I would too if I knew something about it, but I don't
that's all, bye

But my dad can beat up your dad
