Monster's name is Atoraru Ka/Atlal Ka, and pic related is its puppet/mech called Atlal Nest/Atlal Throne.

Its classified as a Neopteron, the giant bugs of monster hunter. They're mostly small monsters, the only Boss Neopterons I can remember are the Vespoid queen, Seltas and the Seltas queen and their subspecies the Desert Seltas and Desert Seltas queen.

It also has a subspecies known as the "Shrouded Nerscylla" that preys upon Khezus (>>54740178), and the crystals on its back are yellow. (Normal Nerscylla has purple crystals that leaks poison when it walks on the ceiling) Shrouded will swing across the map and if it hits someone they will be paralyzed.

Seltas Queen is a Female Seltas. They will summon males with pheromones and then "fuse" with them, while fused the Seltas Queen will gain new attacks.
>Seltas will lift her up in the air then smash her down
>Seltas queen will try to ram her target, attack is way faster than her usual charge is and deals more damage.
And then there's what happen if a Seltas queen is low on stamina and a Seltas is present.

>repeatedly and violently smash him on the ground until he's killed
>drops the corpse and eats it.

Desert Seltas queen is even more brutal.

The queen also sounds like a mech for some reasons, and its armor makes you look like a mech.
