My GW store has a nice policy regarding 3rd party models.
If the model and the army is mostly GW, then some 3rd party parts are fine, as are models that arent easily recognizes as 3rd party models. If someone claims that your 3rd party models are 3rd party, then you need to claim that they arent, they are just heavily converted.

My GW is similar. They don't care that much as long as more than half the model is GW model. I have one full 3rd party Commissar model that I've used once around an employee, but he wasn't thrilled. I have yet to use it around the manager, but he's a bit more strict and gets annoyed quicker by other stuff. He works really hard to make sure the shop is earning a lot of money, so he gets pretty bothered by conversions from kits that weren't bought there and people who bring in majority FW armies.

To be honest, i also dislike people using 3rd party models, except if they tell me they do before i notice it myself. Sure i and my boss allow it under said rules, but after all we have a store to run.

A few months ago there was a guy who had a 100% third party army and he never bought anything here so we threw him out, but thats is something we try to avoid.
