Most of Europe has been quasi women-ruled for most of its history. Sure, they weren't land owners or generals, but neither were 99% of men. The import of the bigwigs is wholly overstated for most of the population. The most important authority position cut off from women was the religious one and later on being teachers. Outside of that they had a fuckton of weight in the familial and group structures that made up the vast majority of the populace until the 20th century. Children of all genders had worth to everyone, the kill-your-daughters meme is only relevant to shit tier countries with fucked cultures and laws.
