Have you ever used any SCPs in your fantasy sessions? How did it go? Do you have plans of using any? My players like the wiki (albeit with some distance, there is so many articles that lack quality), have played RPGs for a long time and I would like to throw them against something... fresh?

I think sarkic SCPs should work well with nightmare settings
the Hunter's Black Lodge one located deep under Moscow gave me nightmares.

Some sarkic SCPs to get you started OP:
http://www.scp-wiki.net/scp-2075
http://www.scp-wiki.net/scp-2095
http://www.scp-wiki.net/scp-2133
http://www.scp-wiki.net/scp-2191
http://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-2264
http://www.scp-wiki.net/scp-2309
Most are pretty good, some are "heavily influenced" by other horror media (aka literally a Yellow King ripoff)
time-space distortion nightmarescapes in general should work well with a fantasy setting, like the beached cargo vessel or Site 13

Drop them immediately.
They are secondaries with no taste.

You could have some SCPs implemented as cursed artifacts, like the axe that always cuts the user or the tomatoes that smash into you if you tell a joke around them. Not exactly like that, but just examples of the type of effect that could be cool. I dunno what system you're using but I'm sure you should be able to homebrew it.

No, because 99% of the wiki is garbage, and I refuse to go digging for the 1% that manages to come off as mediocre. Everything just fucking kills you if you don't follow some esoteric set of rules that no one could possibly figure out, and sometimes it'll still kill you because lawl so spooky. It's one of the most boring, uninteresting, no fun allowed pieces of fiction I've ever come across.

>dimensional anomalies
"lel everything just kills you!1!! xD""
>calling 99% of the wiki garbage when you haven't even read 1%
try harder.

I've read more than enough to decide that it's not worth reading. I don't have to memorize every single article to know if it's crap. I've already read plenty of crap. I don't want more crap, even if there's a bit of corn in it.

I can't say I'm surprised.

Thanks, shall look into those.
On the topic of quality and the heated discussion that resulted, I admit that I kinda expected it. :/
