The thing that really bothers me about Bane is his comic book origin.

He was born in a South American prison where he heard about Batman and Gotham, so he thought if he defeated Batman all the karmic energy of Gotham would flow to him and make him rich, so in order to train he did A THOUSAND PUSHUPS every day and A THOUSAND SIT-UPS every day and read A THOUSAND BOOKS from the prison library wtf

But what really bothers me is the reason for his creation.
