STEP Zillion Please post dead links and I will remove them to keep the archive up to date. Be specific - Include a Page Number -, there are dozens of copies of some Pdfs.

STEP: the Next. If you have a fancy pdf that has unwanted clutter on it, here is one way to clean it.
Contact our resident Transmutation Wizard and politely ask him to clean a pdf. He will set his scrying device to accept pdfs and then you ship it to him. Magic occurs, then the pdf is purified.

STEP: 33 1/3 What Da Archive really needs at this point is a Deleter, a deadlink bloodhound. Obfuscated links are slower to check. One way to do it is for Da Editor to make themselves a personal copy of Da Archive with corrected hyperlinks.
This would not be a document for sharing, only to check links.
Periodically they would post a list of links to remove.

Da Archive is getting clunky to manage, due to size; shifting towards curated troves is helping immensely.


The first 5 pages of Da Archive have the most of the older ‘un -maintained’ troves.
The best thing is to go through them all soon and get what pdfs interest you.

Some Friendly Tips from RequestFiller:
Try removing things like "The" and "A" from the start Title and searching again. Try searching for just one word from the Title after that.

Failing all of these, open up the Collections in the first section that state a large number of folders but only list a small portion of them.

Next try searching things from the same core system. Looking for a rare Tri-Stat based game? Look at a BESM trove or two.

Looking at troves for games that come from the same publisher works, too. Need you some Red Tide or Spears of the Dawn? More than one Trove marked Stars Without Number will contain those.
A quick CTRL-F in Da Archive should always be a step that precedes asking for help.

New thread, new repost of my big Savage Worlds wishlist. I'm leaving it here at the start so it doesn't get in the way of the rest of the thread. The list is organized by setting, starting with the settings missing the most files and going all the way down to the settings missing just a single one. I've removed any PDFS shared in the last thread from it and will continue to update it with each new thread. I know that a lot of other people have been requesting many items from this list regularly for quite some time now and I don't think any of them have ever been shared before. This is the problem I now have with removing dead links. It sometimes takes me a few tries to correct a link and then my filters sometimes block some sites so I am slowed and uncertain about deleting them. It has become excessively time consuming to clean Da Archive with my meager skills.

The copy of DA2 Temple of the Frog I found in the archives is missing 3 pages (Page 33-36) also I think it is missing some maps. Looking online this was a problem with a Paizo scan that was fixed in later versions. Does any one have a fixed version of this module?

I have the latest playtest (v6.2.2.8) from March 2003, but am really interested in earlier versions, especially v5 or even the pre-public release v4 (which is out there, somewhere). I know the game has flaws but I want to see how it developed as I know it changed a lot.

Thanks, but not really. These are mostly published games, what I've seen was at least four time the size of it and mostly work in progress of free games.

It had mostly bizzarre or intriguing things as Troublemaker (The Goonies: the RPG) or White Books (a masterless dungeon crawler, as odd as it sounds). Pretty sure I'm allucinating 'cause these are so obscure that I dunno where else I could've gathered them.

Outbreak Undead 1e was total garbage. No idea about 2e.

All Flesh Must Be Eaten is the classic zombie game. End of the World: Zombie Apocalypse is also pretty popular but looked kind of mediocre to me. Dead Reign is a bad system for zombies, but has a shitload of great tables for rolling all sorts of things (not just in the core, a bunch of the splats have good bits too), and some of the setting details could also be good to draw on. I've seen people mention Infected! before, and Red Markets, which has a released beta gets shilled quite a bit. Most of these should be in the archives. Zombies is also one of the things GURPS can do particularly well if you were up for learning it.
