I worship Patrick Stuart. Is that unnnecessary iconoclasm?
I've created a world that is really clichéd and I'm enjoying it. Everyone always complains about fantasy tropes, but it seems most people haven't ever actually played a completely "vanilla" campaign.

You can't really worship him if you can't spell his name right.
I on the other hand worship huge Korean titties. Dare you to find a spelling error in there

I think you made a wrong turn.

This, sometimes a vanilla campaign played straight can be very refreshing and fun.
There is a reason some tropes became popular enough to be commonplace.
Got a few questions that I hope you guys can answer.
1) I have literal B/X D&D. Should I use a retroclone like Labyrinth Lord or LotFP for ease of use?
2) I also have the literal Rules Cyclopedia. How does this compare to B/X. Are there pros and cons or is one better than the other?
3) I have some AD&D both 1e and 2e. I understand that they can be blended. What are popular ways to do this? How do you personally mix them?
4) Between B/X, BECMI/RC, and AD&D which is the best to introduce a group to?
Thank you for any and all answers in advance.

Having glanced through the originals, the reason I picked up LotFP was because it's streamlined. I'm doing a home brew based on a heavily modified LotFP, and I have all the rules on like 3 pages. If you can keep any system that succint, I'd say go for it.
Why does it take so much money to enchant a weapon in ACKs for a single increment?

Because everything in ACKS happens in large amounts of money.
