Has your party ever gone up against a god?
Yep.
The DM made the mistake of giving him stats after we had pretty much spent the entire game being minmaxing assholes as part of a bet.
We didn't slap his shit, as such, but the amount of subclauses the DM had to add to all of his abilities so that we didn't just ignore or negate them made them look like post-2015 Yu-Gi-Oh cards, and nobody could understand what was going on anymore since the stack had so many fucking interrupts on it that we needed a flowchart to keep track.
It was a nightmare and we all agreed never to speak of it again.

I still have nightmares

Yes, they challenged me, the DM.
So you saw that thread on v too, huh
>>54573092
>a god
No such thing. There's just The God. And whole bunch of false idols. But yeah, we faced some of the latter.
>>54573092
No. But we did go up against a Demon Lord.
...pretty fucking close.
Just watch me
>>54573092
Yes, we beat the thing, but it was pretty much just a strong monster that people were praying to in an old church. It was screwing with the town and they were sacrificing people to it, but still it felt badass.

>he doesn't know about /tg/'s long history with Pooh's Home Run Derby
Newfag, please.
>>54573092
Yeah but we were super heroes so it wasn't a total shitshow. He still juggled three of us at a time.

>implying my filthy pagan ways aren't superior to your proselytizing on a Mongolian finger painting board

Anon, don't.
>>54573092
Has yours?

It's too late for him.
