War for the Crown is coming out next year, though! That's a very long time to wait to bring glory to the Empire!

Also, it's kind of ambiguous as to what the heck is going on with that campaign. From the sounds of things, Prince Stavian's finally kicked the bucket and Princess Eutropia has hired on the party as her own personal agents to go forth and consolidate her power as Taldor begins to disintegrate before your eyes. From there? Who knows, but it sounds like the results of this AP are going to be monumental for the Inner Sea.

More importantly, it's worth noting that none of the SERIOUS changes happen in an AP, it's always fixing the immediate problem that happens. For example, in Wrath of the Righteous you kill an Avatar of Deskari at the end of Book 6 and close the Worldwound, but the Post-Campaign material details killing Deskari in the Abyss (a bigger deal) and restoring the Kingdom of Sarkoris. Likewise, Kingmaker ends with stopping some random Nymph queen, but Post-Campaign Kingmaker involves Choral the Conqueror and the Brevic civil war turning hot. I'm going to go out on a limb and state (quite confidently) that the Post-Campaign for War for the Crown is the stuff that details Taldor Ascendant or Taldor becoming a progressive society tolerant of all.

Also, Princess Eutropia is not only going to be the Empress of Taldor, but she's also single. Be prepared for a waifu. In fact, be prepared for the most high-powered waifus in any Pathfinder AP, as the party will likely have unrestricted access to all circles of Taldan society and their status as the right-hand men and women of an Empress means the eyes of the Inner Sea will be drawn to them.

The biggest problem my friends and I found with Emerald Spire is that the first two floors are absolutely insane, they keep you on your toes and you've worried the entire time that something might kill you and your friends. Past that, however, the floors are either one of two things but always a third, and those are (in order):

But they did, anon. I agree with you that they should've made the Brevic civil war the focus of the AP rather than some Fae fuckery, but it's still featured prominently in the Post-Campaign.

And that's what I'm trying to say in that post. All the cool shit happens in the Post-Campaign, in that magical period after you fix the problems and are now an end-game badass with the power and resources to make serious geopolitical changes to Golarion. Frankly, this is why they never feature this sort of bullshit in the campaign itself, because once you start pushing around the set-pieces than the established railroad breaks down nine times out of ten.

What good is the post-campaign stuff? I don't think anybody ever uses it. I've never heard of anybody use the post-campaign stuff before, not for any AP.

A DM that used an AP no longer has the books doing the brunt of the work for them if they continue into post-campaign stuff, and they've also already reached closure for the AP they've probably spent a couple years or more running. DMs don't have a good reason to keep going, unless everybody in the group just isn't willing to make new characters for a new campaign but still wants to keep playing.

Planeseeds.
Planeseeds are strange seeds that seem to faintly glow with positive energy. Well, Superman is considered an All-American super hero despite being an alien-being one of over three hundred species of insect native to Earth would probably just make him more relatable. I'm not sure an octopus green lantern would have been a pilot, but the vulnerability to yellow probably has ramifications for their ability to change color. So I'm the anon a few threads back who has been getting advice on building the ultimate skill monkey. At first I was undecided between bard and rogue, then I was introduced to the wonders of the Investigator, especialy the Empiracist.

But no one did mention the unchained rogue. How so they compare? I mean even the rules or something for skill unlocks describe how unchained rogue is suppose to be the ultimate skill monkey.

Empiricist has the easiest time getting a lot of big skill numbers, but you won't be getting skill unlocks on them so it's a matter of how much you value those. Signature Skill can only be taken once and Empiricists tend to have some trouble spending a feat.

The list of good skill unlocks can probably be counted on one hand honestly, but those good ones are good enough to warrant consideration. Building and playing a good URogue is rough though and usually requires an accomodating campaign, Empiricist are never bad.

I really want another level 4 gestalt game to roll out so I can debut my "Knows Literally Everything" build.

At level 4 it hits +27 to all knowledge skills when identifying monsters all the time and +41 when spending resources.

It has +17 to all knowledge skills for everything else and +21 when spending resources.

No longer would the party ever have the issue of 'does anyone have knowledge planes', for he would have knowledge planes. He would know all the planes.

Next we have Hungarian Rhapsody No.2 by Franz Liszt. The song's over-the-top and frentic nature fit animation perfectly, which is why it was included in so many classic cartoons. This particular one is one of my favorites, which has Tom and Jerry doing one of their classic duels to the tune of the song.
Fun fact: the song is so intense that Liszt would often have two pianos prepared because of the likelihood he would destroy one from playing it too hard.

First of all, they're the Kents-Clark is the name they gave their alien son. As for why they raised them, who knows? Some combination of pity for the strange creature they found, longing for a child of their own, fear of what might happen if someone else found it. And frankly, if you can get past the whole "giant intelligent arthropod" thing, him having superhuman abilities doesn't seem like it'd be that much more surprising.

To be fair it looks like a shitty app written in 5 mins. Megaman, Lion-O and fire emblem threw in their novels a couple days before the boozle lights went on so I'm more inclined to feel a bit more sympathy towards those poor sods.

One has to stop wearing armor, and take a few weeks to a few months off every year and is also needed healthy and constantly present to keep the next generation from starving to death.

"I'm on vacation 10% of the time in a few years" does not PREVENT rulership, but it does rightly affect hours-worked and total veterancy. Plenty of women back when everyone was heavily physical didn't need quite as much of a vacation - although it's been shown that parental leave for BOTH sexes is much better for the child and family as a whole - but some do once in a while, and some simply don't care to go back with their new rewired brain priorities (pregnancy does that to all of us to varying degrees).

So for positions that require constant physical presence year after year, even though it's certainly not impossible and there's no real reason to bar it from females, there WILL be a higher (even if not by much) incidence of males, and as a result a slightly higher incidence of male leaders as well. It might only end up 55/45, but pretending there is and should be no difference at all is misinformation used by those who'd see women fired and sent back home under a guise of wanting equality, rather than their biological role properly integrated into society.

It doesn't have to be social discrimination, the species simply needs someone to go do something SO THAT IT DOESN'T GO EXTINCT

Because there are more women than men. That's literally the reason. When there's so few men around, men become extremely valuable. Women become more expendable in comparison. If there are 5 men for every 100 women, then losing one of the 20 haremites isn't a problem, but losing one of the men is a huge problem. Further since men are, objectively, physically stronger than women, one of the original lore/culture explanations for the crude reality above could've easily been, literally, "men are superior to women because the few men born are all stronger than the women around them". It'd be weirder if males dominated society when from the start there were almost no women.

Of course it matters. A man can only handle so many women to begin with and may not want to handle them all, and women jockeying for being able to spend a night with their haremlord ends up in ridiculous harem politics except society-wide. Having a girl die could easily help those other 19 girls, but having the man die means the leftover 20 might not be ale to spend time with the man. They have clever squiddly arms with their own neurons, thus +4 dex, but the thinking head-brain doesn't collaborate with their arm-brains on topics of reason and logic, thus -2 int.

The thing I hate most about Daenerys isn't just how badly Dumb and Dumber have ruined the character, it's how Emilia Clarke is the single worst actress on the show right now. Every scene with her makes me cringe, from the way she lacks stage presence to the hideous facial expressions she portrays to, my personal favorite, her inability to emote or convey emotion. That's the worst part, that's the absolute worst part. The girl can't act, she just CAN'T; happiness and sadness, anger and mercy, confusion and revelation, all of them are portrayed in the same monotonous tone of blithe imperiousness she has kept as her voice since Season 4. She whispers threats to the Spider in the same voice she whispers promises to Tyrion, the tone she gave Daario in bed is the same she uses for confusion at the state of Westeros.

This girl is supposed to be the Dragon Queen, the foundation of the show's second half. She's the Unburnt, Queen of the Andals and the First Men, the Breaker of Chains and (as many would put it) the Prince that was Promised. She is all of these things, and she is overshadowed as a character by the fucking Spider.

Another example I can't get out of my head is Daenerys talking with Tyrion at the beginning of Season 6, Episode 10, when Mereen is under siege and she's describing just what she wants to do to her enemies.

Her city is under fire, her pyramid is getting shelled, and everything in her world is being attacked... And yet the voice she uses to describe how she wants to burn her enemies alive is the same sort of voice she uses EVERY OTHER FUCKING TIME SHE TALKS.
