Not him, but this is literally a vidya thread. You didn't even try to make it /tg/ related by asking people about tabletop systems to run bioshock style games in or ideas for things. You literally asked people to discuss the video games and for their ideas for the next video game.

At least give a pen & paper related prompt next time

Cats are obviously better. I mean, the nice soft ripping noise of their inner cavities tearing as you shove your huge member into holes man was never meant to claim is orgasmic in and of itself.

Of course, you need to get a new cat each time, but it's totally worth it.

I love Bioshock stuff, but its contained setting is a bit limited in terms of its scope; it's just the single city of Rapture pretty much.

That's why I had the idea I had was to combine it with Fallout, which meant the plasmids and gene-tonics could spread around. Plus fun radioactive super ghoul splicers.

But enough about that shit; Bioshock the first is one of my favorite games ever. I really do love it, and I wish tabletop games used it's "magic" system in the same way. Being able to freeze enemies or light them on fire and making them run to water and following up with a zap is a lot more interesting then just 3d6 fire damage or whatever.

I was always of the mind that if I were to run a Bioshock game, it would be with me using the core concept of "take a period in history, and use it as your crazy sci-fi pseudohorror theme" alongside Infinite's "There's always a man, there's always a lighthouse, there's always a city" idea.

My personal favorite idea I had for one was an underground city based on Norse myth, attached to a lighthouse overlooking a long since dry lakebed. Einherjar Big Daddies, death cults, setting up the entire city in an inverse depiction of Yggdrasil with Vallhalla being the lowest and most secret level. I was particularly thinking of combining it with Art Deco style, because that would be fucking cool.
Also battle hungry Viking splicers sounded fucking great.

but infinite was cancer :( shit story, shit plasmids and shit gunplay are not made up for by sunny skies and talking protagonist, no matter how much porn there is of elizabeth, infinite is crap.

Infinite was a decent set of ideas with lackluster application. It could have been better ,and it certainly wasn't as good as the original, but it was still pretty okay.

That said, fuck you those plasmids were fucking great. Bird Traps are my waifu.
