Dark fantasy is genre that is made by ambiance.

GURPS. Basic Set rules are gritty enough, trust me. Add in Low-Tech for gear and additional rules, and crack open Fantasy if you need help building a world. Use Dungeon Fantasy templates to make the character creation process easy. /GURPSGEN/ and the unaffiliated Discord are both incredible resources for new players.
