For countless centuries we've carved our home out of the world. We gnawed through stone and ejected the spoil into the void above. We shaped tools of metal and bone and ceramic. We raised mushrooms and fish for food and dug pathways, work chambers, sleeping chambers, storage chambers, archives, lavatories, washing chambers, kitchens, feeding chambers and chambers for our queens.
Then came the bearded ones. Vile creatures who akin to the surface walkers which proliferate like vermin and sought to plunder our hives an exterminate us. They killed many sisters, queens and pup fell to their axes and swords. But in the end, we rallied. The Hives were united and struck back. With blade and mace and fire tooth we struck back against them. The tide was turned, the looters were routed and turned to prey and a Hive of Hives was born. Now we press our attack against those which sought our doom. All will come to serve the Metahive. The bearded ones shall do so as Food.

Surely there is some way to make peace between the bearded ones and the naked ones?

Praise be to the Sun, may its fire ignite us! We, the chosen one of the Sun, have long sustained its march in the sky by gifting it sacrifices, and in return it gave us a bountiful place to rest! And it is also with the Sun's blessing we have expanded past the deserts ringing the oasis of our home! Here we stand, in one such place - and in the Sun's name, we shall bring its light here! But these lands have long forgotten the Sun! It is up to us, mighty warriors of the Bearded, to bring the Sun's light into the very hearts of the pallid, freakish inhabitants of this land, so that the Sun may have them for sustenance in its infinite march! For the Sun! For the continuation of the march! We FIGHT!
