Hey tg, long story short one of my players is being rewarded with a familiar/animal companion she gained through a wish. The Familiar/AC needs to be based on, even loosely, the Harrow Card she drew during game session- Which was the Vision card.

She is an elemental cleric of Air (focusing on clouds and lightning?)

Any thematic ideas on what to reward my player with?

OK. So. No idea why this seems to surprise everyone.
But OP can't self bump while they have the most recent post.

2e is a real red-headed stepchild among that list. What's wrong with the rest of OSR?
For that matter: if you're OK with conversion, why not homebrew something?

How about a small hawk, pterosaur, or other kind of "thunderbird"? It would have large glowing eyes by which it could see through complete darkness, magical concealment, and even solid matter over large distances. It could transmit its vision through a familiar bond so that the cleric could see through its eyes.
If you think that a thunderbird is too on the nose, you could make it a different animal associated with rainstorms like a frog, electric eel, crocodile, catfish, heron, or dragonfly

I have a few ideas

You could make it a mouse, but a little larger, give it a powerful thunder attack, more HP (this is important for creatures that the player will be connected to) and BAM you have a pikachu like creature, it could be funny that its a tiny mouse that has a powerful attack, also give it a paralyze attack, give it a few casting per day, buff the wizdom and there you have it

This. A hawk would be the obvious choice.

>why not homebrew something?
Mostly part of what I call the "New player mind set". If I can open a book/pdf and point at something they are more likely to just accept it, even from another edition, because it would be in print over something I type up myself. Because it`s "official."

HA! Genuine laugh. Good job Anon.

Personal storm cloud-mad scientist elemental
A miniature storm cloud Igor.
Seeks character levels in sage, (info) thief, etc. Lightning warlock? Half-power gestalts classes each level because it can't stay focus on just one thing?

Faerie dragon:
http://www.d20pfsrd.com/bestiary/monster-listings/dragons/dragon-faerie/
But focused on research (stealing research materials), experiments (pranks, too) and memory reading, rather than pranks.
Pranky experiment, inquisitive thief, knowledge seeking faerie dragon could be the best Pathfinder SRD fit.

Isn't that basically saying people can't bump?
>>
>>54437072
No, it means that the op can't bump his own thread until someone else replies. Whether or not it is true, I have no idea
>>
>>54437072
The person who makes the thread
cannot bump that thread
at any point in that thread's life
unless
someone else
has posted
somewhere between when OP is posting
and when OP last posted.

Even sageing counts.

Corollary:
Don't even sage bad threads
OP gets to bump them
just don't post.

Or better yet, an elder Arrowhawk. I never even realized they had an electric ray attack.

A whispering wind.
Literally.
As in it sees shit and tells you about it.
