MTG Question
So I have a genuine question about this card. I read the rulings but I must have misunderstood. Would someone who plays Spell Queller be able to exile a spell they played in there graveyard?
i.e. a sorcery or instant that the player has already used. To recast and reuse? Or would Spell Queller only effect permanents on the battlefeild under players control?
I'm curious because if so, I think I found a nifty use of recasting.
It target's a spell that's being cast (ie. on the stack).
I can target something with flashback or aftermath (assuming it meets the CMC criteria) if it's being cast from the yard, but it can't just target cards in the yard that have already resolved.

You target spells on the stack with Spell Queller.
So to answer your question, yes. When you cast a spell from the graveyard it goes on the stack and resolves (and then usually exiles itself). If you target a spell cast from the graveyard you're basically adding a bunch of mana to mana costs in order to increase a spell's uses from 2 to 3 times.

You cannot target an instant or sorcery card in any player's graveyard, no.
A card is only a spell as it's being cast. In any other zone, it's not a legal target.

Okay thought so, thanks for the feedback. Specifically I was referring to my own graveyard. But if I cannot regardless that answer my q so thanks!
